Current Team

Dr. Shen is Associate Professor of Psychology at University of Massachusetts Lowell. Dr. Shen earned his Ph.D. in Life-Span Developmental Psychology at University of Alabama at Birmingham  and completed his postdoctoral training at Nationwide Children's Hospital/Ohio State University.

 

Dr. Shen has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles, focusing on primary, secondary, and tertiary injury prevention among both neurotypical and neurodivergent children. Dr. Shen's research has been the recipient of grants worth over $1.6 million from the NIH, HRSA, as well as state and local agencies.
